Clueless Helper 1.1.1.0, unregistered version.

1. Copy the 9 lines of digit from http://www.sudocue.net/clueless.php.

2. Edit > Paste Sumarai.

The exception is:

System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
at Clueless.Main.PasteFromClipboard()
at Clueless.Main.MenuPasteSA_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)
at System.Windows.Forms.MenuItem.OnClick(EventArgs e)
at System.Windows.Forms.MenuItem.MenuItemData.Execute()
at System.Windows.Forms.Command.Invoke()
at System.Windows.Forms.Command.DispatchID(Int32 id)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmCommand(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.ContainerControl.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)

Seems like a "buffer overflow" because Clueless Helper treated the 9-line Clueless as a 5-line Sumarai.

The Paste facility only works for the Samurai, so it's useful if you have a puzzle from somewhere else. The Clueless are, I think, unique to Ruuds' site.

To load a Clueless (and this will work for Samurai as well) select menu option 'Game' then 'Sudocue.net'. The drop down menu let's you pick any of Ruud's standard multigrid puzzles including from the archives. No need to visit the webpage until you want to submit.

Hope this helps.

All the best,

Glyn

Thanks, but your method of loading a Clueless or Sumarai does not work because I never registered it. I will register it though.
