Hi Ruud,

I just tried your Weekly Assassin for June 2nd. I got 2 solutions :( .

So I imported your text file into Perfect Sudoku - it says there are 2 solutions.

Is there a problem? Have I done something wrong?

Where would I be without your wisdom?

I'm afraid I tried too many things at the same time.

A new Assassin is uploaded. It has a unique solution, but I had to change the pattern a little, because it did not work.

I hope you like the new puzzle.

Thanks again! 8-)

The new picture is correctly uploaded.

Maybe you're looking at a picture from your cache. That fooled me quite a few times...

always wondered what that refresh button was for on the browser...

anyway I typed it into my helper and it looks like this:

oh... guess i gotta host the pic somewhere else then give its url

perhaps I ought to try a free webb host site, then ill see djape magazine killer ads and bird cage adds, and perhaps jigsaw ads that in itself is kinda neat

well these cages show an easier way than the former
2 left cols give outie row 5 and the symetrical one on the right
then nonet 1 and 3 gave some outies and a cage split then..
I got it

I don't know how you did it, because it seems terribly difficult to prove how to block the numbers so that the solution exists and is unique.
Is it just trial and error ? In any case, congratulations, and thanks !
I managed to solve it in about an hour, and enjoyed it.
