PS says this puzzle has two solutions - even after a few placements - somethings wrong??

PS does have its share of bugs......

Here's my walkthrough.

1. R89C9 = {13}, R12C9 = {24}, R3C78 = {79}. 45 rule on N3 -> R1C7 + R3C9 = 8 -> R3C9 = 5, R1C7 = 3, R4C89 = [16], R2C7 = 1, R12C8 = {68}.

2. In N6 the 22(3) cage = {589} (since the only other combo, {679}, is blocked) so R6C8 = 5, R7C78 = [59] (because {568} are blocked from R7C8), R5C89 = [37], R67C9 = [98].

3. 45 rule on N9 -> R9C7 = 7, R3C78 = [97], R8C7 = 6, R89C8 = {24}. 45 rule on N78 -> R7C15 = 13 = {67}. 45 rule on N7 -> R7C1 + R9C3 = 13 -> R9C3 = 6, R7C15 = [76], R6C12 = {68}.

4. 45 rule on R6789 -> R6C37 = 9 = [72]. 45 rule on R5 -> R4C37 = 7 = [34], R5C12 = {24}, R5C3 = 1, R4C12 = {59}, R3C1 = 1. R3C5 = 21 - (2 + 7 + 8) = 4, R3C23 = [32], R89C1 = {23}. 45 rule on N1 -> R1C3 = 9.

I design my killers using SumoCue, which uses a dancing links algorithm to verify uniqueness.

Oh good. Is there a way I can check uniqueness through Sumocue - I love the idea of watching dancing algorithms?!

BTW - with the newest version of Sumocue (1.3.1), how do I open a puzzle from a code-string?

The current release of SumoCue is 1.1.6
Release 1.3.1 is the the latest for my SudoCue program, which is for regular sudokus.

Therefore, with SumoCue 1.1.6:

• Copy the PS string you see in small font on the website;
  Paste the string in the program;
  Hit F10 to activate the dancing links solver. It will either say: "Puzzle solved" or "multiple solutions found".

To avoid spoilers, choose Edit/Setup to switch to setup mode. Hitting F10 in setup mode does not fill the cells. Choose File/Play to return to play mode after the check.
