I just thought I'd take a crack at the hevvie myself, and found it isn't as hard as it was cracked up to be. Hmm - we're still struggling with it 3. combinations for 15 in n8 = {59|68} -> no 1..4|7; forms killer pair {56} with 9/2 in n8 -> elim from rest of n8 Why can't 15(2) in n8 be {78}? - {59}=...

I just thought I'd take a crack at the hevvie myself, and found it isn't as hard as it was cracked up to be. I got stuck at the *very end*, thinking there were two solutions -- I honestly had 70 of 81 digits placed, and the rest were all pairs, and I thought there might be a dual solution, but sumoc...

Here's my solution for V1 -- all fairly standard killer stuff until step 49, which involves Medusa Coloring of a sort, with a bit of a twist at the end. It might be easier to write it as a double implication chain in Eureka notation, but I didn't. I am, as always, quite prone to errors and quite slo...

Here's a walkthrough for version 1. I used a couple fancy techniques, but not many. I'll tackle 1.5 in a bit. Note: This walkthrough should work without any preliminary steps. Note 2: Numbers between {} are unordered; numbers between [] are left to right first, then top to bottom. i.e. theoretically...

Here's my walkthrough. Move 14 is somewhere between conflicting combinations and trial-and-error; I'm not sure if it's kosher. Aside from that I didn't think this was that hard. The entire thing's about 50-60 steps, maybe more depending on how you count them. I'd say well under 100 though. 0a. 4/2 i...

Sumocue 1.3.0.0 - "copy Sums+marks" after solve -&
After solving assassin 41, I tried to copy marks for my post, which worked, but then decided I really wanted sums+marks, but got an unhandled exception. Trying to replicate it, I find that it doesn't happen if I just choose "solve" from the menu to solve it, but if I let it step through mo...

I just finished this one -- couldn't do it in one sitting but finished it in the next (which is a rarity, usually if I can't finish it at once I give up altogether). I'm going to post my walkthrough as it's rather different -- it may be somewhat circuitous, I'm sure it isn't minimal, but it's the wa...
