Marlie,
A big transatlantic hug for you. I'm so sorry for your loss. I really did pray for you and your mother.

Marlie,
I also want to thank you for being willing to speak to Ruud for all of us. I, too, will pray for you mother, as well as for Ruud.

Nasenbaer,

Thanks for the new puzzle! This one was much easier. As far as I'm concerned, that's just fine. I have far too many puzzles, especially assassins that I can't finish, so it's good to have one that requires thought, but can be done without devoting an entire weekend to it.

I really liked this puzzle until I got to the last 6 cells. There are 3 solutions as Afmob noted. I don't think that Uniqueness can be used to eliminate 2 of the solutions. I'd like to see another one of this type of puzzle.

I, too, started that puzzle. I had rated it Vicious after the first round. I just finished going around the 4th time (with no effect) and decided to rate it Demonic (that's worse than Ruudiculous). Decided to see if anyone else got anywhere with it. I feel better now, and am looking forward to tomor...

Marlie, I'm glad you came through the hurricane ok. Thanks for the card. I used to live on the East Coast of the US, so I know how bad a hurricane can be. Hurricane season for the US starts June 1, so I was surprised to hear of an active one now. As you noticed, I now live in Tornado Alley. Not much...

Hey Marlie,
Are The Netherlands still there? I don't have a TV (imagine, an American home with no TV), thus I was unaware of the weather conditions in your country until I saw your post.

Past experience has indicated that the 24 hour countdown appears automatically. When the puzzle is late, we don't get another countdown, the puzzle just pops up. Surprise! Perhaps this is just a devious way to get the number of site visits to increase. I've been checking more than once an hour both ...

I have a confession to make. Bored89 Easy was too hard. So I looked at Bored89 Hard. Couldn't do that one either. This is not good; I couldn't do 3 of the last 4 Assassins. It suddenly occurred to me that these 2 puzzles would have to have the same solution, since only N5 differed. So by comparing t...

Maurice,
Just a quick note to let you know that your puzzles are being done "somewhere." I got the same solution (always a good thing) on BWAN: 1. I'm about to start DW AN2.

Woo Hoo! Gotta love that Central Time Zone! I don't rate puzzles with a number scale, but put this one down as disturbingly easy. Is this really Ruud's site? Afmob tells me that the sign error in Step 20 requires all subsequent steps to be re-done. I don't have time for that, so keep it in mind if y...

RP

I'm going to guess that RP means Rejected Puzzle. Probably because it is Hard with a capital H. But I'm a Rookie, so I could be wrong about that.
