Re: Not seeing hidden unique rectangle

Not your problem.

I assume Ruud woke up, for at least a few moments, and fixed a crash.

I tried his software and I don't like it for clueless.

I may have to switch but I don't think it will be soon.

Does it work well for assassins? ( I haven't tried them.)

I just wish I had something to coordinate the pencil-marks in the overlapping cells. That gets tedious, and that's where I often make mistakes before I even start to solve the puzzle. I had been hoping to use Clueless Helper for that, but Ruud has never (to my knowledge) added printing capability t...

Agreed. No one is too busy to show up at their own website once in three months for a proper goodbye. I guess I'm not so quick to abandon Sudocue, although I've added Richard's forums to my usual "haunts". I, too, run a Web site (a school alumni site) and forums. I'm ashamed to admit I ha...

Perhaps he is too humble to have given you this reference (or maybe the poor guy just forgot :D ), but the fact is that Ruud resurrected Sue-de-Coq recentl...

UR and BUG eliminations.

I note that your solver does the eliminations in UR type patterns rather than setting the digit in the pattern.

Is this more correct or just your preference?

Thanks.
