Sudoku Special, 2006 October 13 (Mystery Letter Sudoku)

Post by unkx80 »

Nice little puzzle there. :)

According to my own solver, after the puzzle is converted to digits, it is solvable using the "easy" techniques plus one UR and one ER. :P

Can someone explain to me the following: Some houses contain the same letter. So how can a straight number substitution be made? What am I missing here?

Thanks

George, Alain,

All you need to convert the letters into digits is some elementary knowledge. 8-)
